各位亲们,最近有个尼日利亚客人 说对我们的商品很感兴趣,我们之前有把所有的要求都提过,支付方式是TT。但是他回复说什么他们尼日利亚的政府 好像只支持DP啥的,好复杂,想问下,这是真的吗?有做过尼日利亚的朋友们吗 ?求帮助。下面附上两封那个人写的邮件,请大家帮忙分析一下,谢谢!
The payment demand is according to the laid down regulation direct from Central Bank of Nigeria, and circular to allother Commercial Banks in the Counutry. Therefore our trade terms of payment is strictly by 100% D/P at Sight through our bank, or payment by CAD - Cash Against Documents, it is a bank to bank payment mode in which your banker and ours will standby as our intermediary to monitor the affairs of the business transaction till the whole amounts of your shipment get credit to your bank account without any problem, in this case we shall be expectinig to hear good and favorable reply from you sooner to enable us move forward in time.
Firstly, be informed that it is the best interest of our Company to established good and mutual trade relationship with your Company, because we are not pray for one time business relationship but everlasting.We want to tell you frankly that your demand 40% down payment is not much to our Company to pay you in advance, even if we paying you the whole amounts of our booking order with you in advance is nota problem, because after shipment you will not demand another payment from us, but the najor obstacle therein is due to the laid down regulation imposed on payment terms direct from Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) on behalf of our Federal Govt, which make it compulsory to all Commercial bank that before any payment could be made or transfer shall be after the relative shipping documents get to the
banking possession, the bank must sighted the documents before any payment could be transfer out of the Country by T/T,without that, even
the Central bank of Nigeria will not grants us Foreign Exchange Approval, please note.
In this case, Sally, we will be highly glad if you can explained the situation to your managements,and to know that it is not our best interest to disagree with their demanding, but because of the laid
down regulation imposed on payment process by our government did not permit any part payment of order invoice value, all payment are to arranged at once under Telegraphic Transfer (T/T) be rest assured. In this case we will be highly glad if you can explained in details so that we may resume on our normal and long time business relationship, while we assured of receiving your full payment without any delay, be rest assured,.
